Today we traveled from Amiens to Bayeux (300 km). On the way we visited Le Havre. This city was destroyed in WWII. But different then other cities it didn't reconstruct the city as it was before. Le Havre build a new city. The architect Auguste Perret was the mastermind behind the new construction. My picture shows the town hall of Le Havre, which is build in the same style as the whole new city, which is called the old city.

Today we traveled from Vilsberg to Reims. On the way we visited Verdun, where there is a battlefield from WWI. This battle was in 1916, just 100 years ago. There are is a National Gravesite for thousands of soldiers. This remined me that I was lucky to live my entire life in peace. I hope this will stay like this!

On September 8 we traveled from Egnach in Switzerland to Bad Königsfelden in Germany (430 km). On September 9., 10. and 11 we attended the presentations of the company Seabridge. They explained us how to ship our RV to Canada. And we heard about a lot of RV tours all over the world. This gave us a lot of ideas, what we can do later on. The picture shows an alley in Bad Königshofen.
