On January 30 we did some repairs on our RV. On the campground are different professionals, which can repair a lot of things at an RV.

On January 31 we went to the city of Agadir to do some visits. Ma picture shows the beach of Agadir, as my picture shows it.

Today we visited the market in Guelmim in Morocco. On the market are camels (dromedary) and other animals on sale. I liked the men with their turbans and clothes.

Today we traveled from Agadir to Guelmim in Morocco (204 km). On the way we visited the arch of Leghzira as my picture shows. Until September 2016 there were two such arches. But then the second one collapsed.

Today we traveled from Essaouira to Agadir in Morocco (173 km). Before we left Essaouira we did some sightseeing there. The picture shows the life on the main road in the old town (Medina).

Today we traveled from Safi to Essaouira in Morocco (123 km). We drove through nice landscapes and for some times on a very bad road. The picture shows a Moroccan taxi, which passed us far away from any bigger settlement.

Today we traveled from El Jadida to Safi in Morocco (137 km). We did visits at El Jadida and Safi. Safi is known for its ceramics. The picture shows a ceramic shop in the souk.

Today we traveled from Rabat to El Jadida (198 km). On the way we drove through the city of Casablanca. In the famous movie «Casablanca» with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergmann are some scenes seen in Rick's Cafe. We searched for it and found the one I show in my picture.

Today we visited Rabat and its sister city Salé in Morocco. The picture shows the mausoleum of the Moroccan Kings in Rabat.

Today we traveled from Meknès to Rabat in Morocco (158 km). On the way we visited the holy city of Moulay Idris Zerhoun and the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis. The picture shows a part of the ruins of Volubilis.

Today we traveled from Fès to Meknès (66 km). Meknès is on of the four Royal Cities in Morooco too. My picture shows one gate to the Royal Palace Area.

Today we visited the city of Fès. It is one of the four Royal Cities on Morocco. The highlight of the visit was the tannery and dyeing operation for leather, which my picture shows.

Today we traveled from Ouezzane to Fès in Morocco (140 km). It rained some times. The landscape was interesting. The picture shows the landscape at the barrier lake Sidi Chahed.

Today we traveled from Chefchaouen to Ouezzane in Morocco (64 km). In the afternoon we visited the city of Ouezzane. Ouezzane is the green city as my picture shows.

Today we traveled from Martil to Chefchaouen in Morocco (75 km). The way went high up a mountain pass over the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen is known as the blue city. My picture shows one of the many blue alleys.

Today we took a shared taxi from Martil to Tétouan in Morocco (10 km) and back. The medina of Tétouan is an UNESCO site. We walked around in the city for hours. The picture shows the entrance of the Royal Palace of Tétouan.

On January 13 we prepared our trip to Morocco. When we started our trip to the south of Europe we didn't think to go to Morocco. But since it was not warm enough in the south of Portugal and Spain we decided to search for more heat in Morocco.

On January 14 we took the ferry from Algeciras to Ceuta. Ceuta is a Spanish exclave in Africa. This made the the trip with the ferry easy. We crossed the border just after we drove a few miles through Ceuta and drove to a city called Martil.

Today we visited Gibraltar. This means we were in Great Britain! We climbed the rock. The picture shows the Bay of Algeciras. In the foreground is Gibraltar and in the background Spain.

Today we had a lazy day in the warm and sunny Manilva in Spain. In the evening we walked along the sea shore. Here I took this picture of the moon rise.

Today we flew back to Malaga in Spain, took our RV out of the garage and drove down to Manilva. We wnt for a walk at sunset time.

We spent time with family and friends in St. Gallen and Rheineck.
