My brother Ernst works since years in a company, which produces batteries. He found the solution for our problem how to operate the RV in the USA with 110 V. There are voltage transformers from 110 V to 230 V available. Such a device can be put between the power source and our RV. Such a device costs about CHF 350.- With that this porblem is solved.

Today we took over our RV in Winterthur. The takeover did work well. Two uncertainities occured. They have to do with our plan to ship our RV to Cananda. The problems are:
1. The electric system in our RV is based on 230 V. How does this work in US with 110 V?
2. The insurance we took for our RV is valid only in Europe. How can we insure our RV in Canada and US?

Hallo Erwin. Kaum lag das ERFA Meeting hinter uns, hast Du schon das RV übernommen.
Nun lese ich; da läuft etwas. Da ist noch ein gewaltiges Programm in der Pipeline.
